I am wondering if the previous rating is about the same hotel that I’ve stayed at. It was a nice hotel. We especially liked the area: on an island in the center of Paris?! How cool is that?

Great location for Jeu de Paume Hotel, Ile Saint Louis

Hidden behind an inconspicuous gate, the Jeu de Paume Hotel is truly a wonderful experience for those who don’t mind spending a bit extra to stay on the historic Isle St. Louis. The service is personal and extremely attentive. The staff go out of their way to recommend restaurants and other outings (pointing to the best value). The rooms are wonderfully furnished, if small, as one might expect in an old building like this.
