A île Saint-Louis (em português, “ilha de São Luís”) é uma ilha situada em pleno coração de Paris, no 4°arrondissement, atrás da Catedral de Notre-Dame de Paris. Foi assim denominada em homenagem a Luís IX , tendo sido renomeada île de la Fraternité (“ilha da Fraternidade”), durante a Revolução francesa.
Anteriormente apelidada “ilha dos palácios”, em razão do grande número de mansões ali existentes, resultou da reunião da île aux Vaches (ilha das Vacas), a leste, com a ilha de Notre Dame, a oeste. Começou a ser urbanizada durante o reinado de Henrique IV .

Das Hotel du Jeu de Paume, das ist mein Lieblings hotel. Ich liebe die Insel Saint Louis, so romantisch, so schön, so einzigartig in der Welt. Sobald ich das franchis Marie-Brücke, die ich aus den (in diesem Viertel zugleich romantischen, historischen und modernen) ich mich in einer Umgebung außerhalb der Zeit. Ich schlendert einige mintes entlang der Bahnsteige, bevor sie mich in das Hotel du Jeu de Paume. Das ist für mich genau die Definition des Glücks. Die Spuren der Vergangenheit, die Geschichte, der Schönheit, des Charmes, der élgéance… Ich stoppe, denn ich werde weiterhin für Stunden.

Tengo que decirles que cuando me cruz Pont Marie y gire a la derecha en la calle Saint Louis-en-l’Ile y entrar en el Hotel du Jeu de Paume, sé que han regresado a mi hogar lejos del hogar. He permanecido en la margen izquierda del río, la orilla derecha, pero cuando me tropecé en su hotel 7-8 años yo sabía que había encontrado algo especial. Usted ha creado un único envoirnment, mundo antiguo y moderno al mismo tiempo, ecléctico y encantador como si me había invitado a su casa.
Vengo aquí cuatro veces al año y esperamos que cada vez que regreso.
Tengo que decirles que después de haber permanecido en otros muchos hoteles en Europa y por supuesto América todavía tengo que encontrar uno que me trata como una familia hace que los suyos. Usted sale de su camino para asegurarse de que tengo todo lo que yo podía desear, así como el cuidado de mí cuando han sido malos, que necesitan un médico o farmacia. Es este tipo de servicio y la atención que hace Jeu de Paume un lugar muy especial.

Esta idealmente ubicado hotel se inauguró en 1988. 1989, y cada año, cuando viajé a París, siempre he tratado de conseguir una habitación en el hotel L’Hotel du Jeu de Paume, convirtiéndose con el tiempo un “habitue “… .. Nos hicimos amistad con el propietario y su hija, Madame Elyane Prache y Nathalie Hecker y con sus, ya fallecido perro, Enzo. Una vez, cuando nos visitó en la Cuaresma, un maravilloso Gateau du Roi nos espera… tan grande, teníamos que compartirlo con todo el personal, de 15…… La última vez que estuvimos allí, un pequeño problema con la red de alcantarillado por debajo del hotel causado algún olor Problemas… de hecho, uno de huéspedes que quedan en el medio de la noche, para el personal de la creación de una terrible vergüenza…… pero, como buenos amigos en todas partes, pequeños inconviences se compensan con el gentility de la gente y que no dudan en regresar.

Ile Saint Louis es el lugar para permanecer.
Nos encantó este hotel el personal es tan amable y útil. La ubicación no podía ser mejor, con muchas boutiques, restaurantes grandes es difícil el salir de la isla. Si lo hace salir de un par de cuadras está la marais distrito muy de moda zona de moda que nos amó compras pulg Esta isla es muy encantador con músicos de la calle. He estancia en París varias veces, pero de ahora en adelante voy a permanecer en la isla. Los comentarios de esta página web me llevan aquí donde correcta. Los otros hoteles en la isla también espera agradable y son probablemente más razonable. Nunca había desayuno desde que se 18E y que hay varias panaderías y cafés una o dos puertas abajo. Si se está preguntando dónde alojarse en París el il de San Luis es el lugar para permanecer.

Me encantó las zonas públicas de este hotel y de la mayoría del personal eran bastante amistosos. Las habitaciones son interesantes – tuvimos un duplex pero es muy pequeño y la escalera de caracol es sólo irritante después de la novedad, lució fuera (24 horas). El desayuno es caro y chocante en la calidad y la suficiencia. Este hotel se encuentra en una excelente ubicación, es un hermoso edificio restaurado con maravillosas zonas públicas de leer o tener una costosa bebida, pero las habitaciones son no vale la pena el precio bastante alto. Hay un restaurante muy bueno en caso de salir del hotel y gire a la izquierda, cruzar la carretera próxima, seguir y es a lo largo de unos 50 metros a la izquierda. La excelente Berthillon helado es demasiado cerca. Los dos / tres restaurantes frente al hotel y, en general de mala calidad y mala valor.

The heart of Paris – this is the oldest and one of the prettiest parts of Paris. It has a village feel to it and there are some lovely cafes along the Seine to sit and have breakfast/lunch in. The hotels aren’t cheap but then nowhere in the heart of Paris is. It is a good place for a base from which to explore the rest of Paris. Nr to the Notre Dame and good links with the RER and Metro near by – and a short walk from the Marais. Cute little delis and cafes. It’s also the home of Bertillion – the best ice cream in Paris, France, maybe the world?!

In the heart of Paris and near City island, the small Ile Saint-Louis (Saint- Louis island) is one of the loveliest districts of Paris: nice and romantic river banks, 18th century houses, village like life.
The whole island almost retains its 18th century outlook. Recently, the Ile Saint-Louis has become very fashionable and expensive.
Look for Bertillon, the best French ice-cream maker, at 31, rue Saint-Louis en l’Ile. This always crowded shop is a nice stop a few hundreds meters away from Notre-Dame.
We warmly recommend you the walk from Notre-Dame to Ile Saint-Louis through the garden at the back of Notre-Dame.

Of all the hotels in Paris’s delightful rue St-Louis-en-l’Ile, this is the most original. Whereas the others are homely, the Jeu de Paume packs a stylish punch.
As its name implies, the building was the site of a 17thC jeu de paume court, built in the days when the ‘palm game’, forerunner to tennis, was all the rage; when the proprietors acquired it in the 1980s, however, it was a run-down warehouse. M Prache is an architect and he wrought something of a miracle on the building, opening out the heart of it right up to the roof, exposing all the old timber construction and slinging mezzanine floors around a central well. The impression of light and transparency is reinforced by a glass-walled lift and glass balustrades around the upper floors. Stone walls and all those beams add a reasurringly rustic feel. The sitting area has the appearance of a sophisticated private apartment, with leather sofas, subtle lighting and handsome stone fireplace. Nearby, at the reception desk, the chic, laid-back staff coolly deal with the guests while a modish golden retriever called Scoop pads around.
